BLENDER — bass players who run a lot of FX often fight lost note definition: the more saturated or processed the wet path gets, the less you hear the core pitch and string attack.
That’s where the CHAOS BLENDER comes in.
It lets you blend your clean bass — the part that carries articulation and low-end foundation in the band — with whatever lives in the send/return FX loop. You keep the rig sounding “bassy” even when the loop is full of dirt, octave, or modulation.
A PHASE switch flips polarity on the loop return so you can line up or cancel partials when the wet path fights the dry instead of hugging it.
