ABY BOX BUFFERED is a buffered ABY splitter: outputs A and B are isolated from each other so you can feed two different amps or split the signal into two paths without them fighting over the same guitar pickup load.
Passive ABY boxes often misbehave with two amps on at once — one side can sound fine while the other loses level and punch. The on-board buffers stop that “one amp hogs the signal” problem so both rigs see a healthy, stable drive from the box.
