A/B VOLUME SWITCH is an A/B box with a level control on path A so you can trim hot or quiet sources before they hit your amp or the rest of the pedalboard.
Handy when you’re swapping between two instruments with different output levels — for example passive vs active electronics, or single-coils vs humbuckers — without one side jumping out of the mix or disappearing in the dirt channel.
